By handling thousands of spindles annually, SKF Spindle Service has built a comprehensive knowledge of the standard criteria required to guarantee further trouble free operation and longer lifetime of the reconditioned spindles.
Specific criteria are considered when the application or the spindle model requires it.
The Quality Assurance system common to all Spindle Service Centres covers all handled processes and includes related documentation. Customers receive a documented feed back for each of their spindles reconditioned in SKF Service Centres. It includes two documents, reporting the different steps of reconditioning from the first checking phase to the final detailed report after repair.
Years after a reconditioning and thanks to traceability system, it is still possible to communicate to customers the corresponding full set of data.
All data related to a repair case are systematically captured and stored in our dedicated computerized system. Repair statistics and spindle follow-up can be on demand provided to our customers.
