The OKC Muff coupling is standard with many well known propeller manufacturers around the world. It allows the tailshaft to be extracted through the stern eye as nuts, bolts and keyways are dispensed with. Other applications include rolling mills, pumps and diesel engines to name but a few. The OKF Flange coupling was developed to create a simple connection between a cylindrical shaft and engines or gearboxes which have a flange at the connection end.
Since the coupling is mounted on a cylindrical shaft and not fixed by keyways, it can easily be adjusted axially and rotated to the desired position.
